The Silverton is expanding with a new hotel tower.
Construction crews plan to erect the 390-room tower on a lot behind the resort’s 1,500-space parking garage.
The tower should be complete in 2016, according to a flier mailed to Silverton patrons. Resort officials were not immediately available for comment today.
