大賭城地區近月來銀行屋存貨驟
減，房價上揚，許多需要修理的二手
屋，以每平方呎70元至80元之間都被買主搶著要，許多新屋建商每周
調漲價格，卻有一家新屋建商H-Homes，在東區推出每平方呎
69元的全新屋出售，吸引原本不想去東區買屋的人，賭城地區從2000
年以後就沒見過這種新屋價格，它比目前所有新屋建商推出之屋要低很
多。
H-Homes以低價格買下了原屬於Pardee Homes所有的建地，位於
Hollywood街 的東邊山腳下，這一片共160英畝的新屋住宅區，從
2007年推出市場，正巧遇上市場開始停滯，建商賣完第一期新屋後第
二期就出現滯銷，留下一大片空建地。

有二個家園，Talo 及 Summ，以(SUMMIT)為例，一戶3,754平方

元也令買主很容易負擔。
華裔地產經紀吳建興（Ramon Wu）說，華人買主向來偏愛西南區，
很少人去賭城大道以東看房子，但他帶到Sunrise 參觀樣品屋之後，
買主訂購者幾乎百分之百，還有買主請他別聲張，以免搶購者多建商要
漲價，讓他先買成了再說。
