Single-story homes gain popularity at Tuscany Village

Home shoppers are finding many options for single-story living at Dunhill Homes' Tuscany Village, a master-planned community in Henderson. The gated master plan offers seven single-story designs with options to help personalize each home.
"For a limited time only, Dunhill Homes has a special incentive program worth thousands on these popular floor plans," said Marina Petric, sales agent. "Single-story homes are among the most-requested style of new homes now, with so many buyers finding value in their convenience and energy-saving features."
Dunhill kicked off the spring season with a grand sales event held earlier this month at Tuscany Village's model homes. The event included food and refreshments from the popular Tasty Bunz gourmet food truck, a classic car show, tours of the community's model homes and a $500 Apple gift card for one lucky guest.
"The classic car show was a hit with guests, who were treated to an up-close view of famous television cars" KITT from the hit show "Knight Rider," the General Lee from "The Dukes of Hazzard" and the iconic Gran Torino from the 1970s smash hit, "Starsky and Hutch," Petric said. The show also included nearly 100-year-old Model A Ford automobiles.
"We specialize in luxury for less at Tuscany Village. Here, you will find it is the perfect place to call home with modern residential designs and dozens of luxury amenities," she said. "From the opulent guard-gated entrance to million-dollar amenities, your home is just the beginning of your new life here."
Tuscany Village offers 13 distinct floor plans ranging from 1,215 to 2,683 square feet with prices starting at $134,990.
The single- and two-story homes have been lauded for their modern design and commitment to energy efficiency, according to Petric.
"Whether you are looking for your first home or your fifth, you can create the perfect home here," she said.
"One of our most popular and flexible single-story homes is the Roma 2683," Petric said. "This home offers 2,683 square feet of living space, three bedrooms, three baths, a great room, gourmet kitchen island and a split three-car garage."
Options for Roma 2683 include a fourth bedroom, den and two covered patios.
"And our homes are just the beginning at Tuscany Village," Petric said.
Among the community's amenities is a 35,000-square-foot recreation center, La Vita Tuscana. This multimillion dollar center offers residents a full-size gym, fully equipped fitness center, aerobics room, basketball and racquetball courts.
Outside, residents and their families enjoy a 25-meter lap pool, a resort-style pool, oversized spas, covered cabanas, lighted tennis courts, basketball courts, walking trails and a children's playground.
The award-winning Tuscany Village golf course has twice been named Golf Magazine's No. 1 golf course in Las Vegas in its annual BBQ (Bang for the Buck) quotient. It is open to both residents and the public.
"Residents get all these amenities in addition to a 24-hour, guard-gated entrance, no LID (local improvement district) fees and 50 free channels of cable television," Petric said.
All floor plans are certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program. Tankless water heaters, radiant-barrier roofs, dual-pane low-e argon gas vinyl windows and other energy-efficient elements are included as standard features in the homes.
